Trip to London

I'm going away for a trip to London. I'll be leaving this afternoon and won't be back until Sunday evening. I'm so excited and we have all our days pretty much planned. Majority of the time will be spent shopping though. Usually I leave my packing until the last minute but I was extremely bored today and so I thought I'd get it over and done with. My excitement just keeps growing and growing.

While I'm there I'm hoping to take loads of pictures to share with you.

What are your plans for the rest of the week?

Cleaning

I feel like I'm constantly cleaning my room. After I finally finish it seems to get messy again within a couple hours. To make it worse it takes me forever to actually get it semi-clean because I get so distracted. For such a long time I've been meaning to try and untangle all my necklaces and yesterday I finally got around to it. I definitely regret it now though, only took me an hour and a half! -_- I put a few clips together from when I was cleaning, sorry in advance for my hyper mood don't know what was up with me probably has something to do with the red bull I had that morning.

Anyone else easily distracted when cleaning?

January Favourites

I know I'm a little bit late putting this post up but for the past week I've just been doing all I can to catch up on school work. With half term coming up hopefully I'll be able to get a few extra posts up soon.  Anyway on with the post, better late than never right?

Soap & Glory Heel Genius- I have quickly become obsessed with this cream. With a lovely fresh scent this cream is quickly absorbed into the skin. It's suggested that you apply the cream before bed then put on a pair of socks. In the morning you wake up to super soft and silky feet.
Palmers Cocoa Butter-  This sweet and chocolate smelling cream is a necessity for any beauty junkies who love to smell sweet and have silky smooth skin. I apply this cream after a shower and I'm never left feeling sticky like most body butters.
Benefit Bad Gal Lash- I have had this little beauty lying around in my makeup collection unopened for a long time now. The wand is huge and perfect for getting all my lashes. It leaves me with long luscious lashes and no clumps and also lasts all day. However it is easy to get off with a simple swipe of eye makeup remover which is perfect when you've had a long day and don't want to spend a long time trying to take your makeup off.
Benefit Bo-ing Concealor- I've wanted to try this product for so long now and when I saw it in a makeup set I had been looking at for a while I snapped it up instantly. This product is so smooth to apply and covers up pretty much everything.
Elf Eyebrow Kit- Filling in my eyebrows is something that I've become obsessed with recently and this kit is perfect for it. As a person who was used to using eyebrow pencils I am officially converted. This kit leaves me with natural looking brows and keeps them in place all day long
Topshop Cream Blush- I have used this blush everyday for the past month. Mine is in Head Over Heels. The blush goes on as a cream but dries to a powder finish and lasts for a good length of time. It's a beautiful coral pink colour. It is easy to blend and perfect for quick applications.
Yankee Candle ( Cherries on Snow)- As a person who is obsessed with candles I am always swapping and changing between my collection. The scent quickly fills the room when burning leaving you with a cosy atmosphere. For any of those who love the smell of cherries this is definitely a must have.
What were your favourites for January?

Les Misérables

Yesterday I went to see Les Misérables at the cinema and I can honestly say it's the best movie I've seen in a long, long time. It was such a beautiful film. As soon as I returned home I instantly bought the soundtrack and have had it on repeat constantly since. My favourite songs are probably 'empty chairs at empty tables', 'master of the house' and 'on my own'. The vocals were amazing and as Samantha Barks if from the Isle of Man, like myself, I felt so proud of her achievements. Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen were the perfect combination and added an amazing sense of light heartedness to the film without going too over the top.
I would recommend this film to everyone and definitely class it as a 'must see' movie. Even if you think it's not your sort of thing I'm pretty sure you'll be surprised when you watch it. The story is amazing and the talent of the actors is impeccable. I'm already excited for the dvd to be released.
Have you been to see this film? If so what did you think?

Revlon Kissable Balm Stains

I know these little beauties have been around a while however I was a little skeptical about purchasing these when they first arrived in the UK. I've always been a huge fan of revlon products and that love grew after trying out these lip products. I currently own three shades 001 Honey, 005 Crush and 045 Romantic.

Left to Right: Honey, Crush, Romantic

Honey

Crush

Romantic
These balms can be used to provide a sheer wash of colour or build up with layers to provide a bold and much more noticeable colour. The lasting power is great and do no leave your lips feeling dry like most stains.  The product glides on and the crayon-like design allows application to be quick and easy. The stains have a minty smell which I personally find lovely as it is not overpowering. Retailing for £7.99 I would definitely recommend these to anyone who loves to wear bright lip colours but does not like to reapply constantly throughout the day. I will definitely be purchasing more of these in the near future.
Have you tried these? If so what did you think about them?

Weekly Wishlist #1

1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Recently I just seem to be looking for the same sorts of pieces. I keep saying that I need to buy a new coat but I never seem to actually get round to it. By the time I actually get a new coat it will probably be summer. Jewellery is a big obsession of mine but particularly necklaces, the bigger the better for me right now.  Wedge high tops are just a new found love of mine after purchasing my first pair I can't seem to get enough of them and I know soon enough I'll be the owner of a good few pairs.Hats have always been a big love of mine as they're perfect for those days when you either don't have the time or are just too lazy to fix your hair in the morning. Any sort of graphic tee will instantly be loved by me especially if it is relevant to my likes and tastes. This one reflects my love for the Ramones that just seems to be growing more and more.
